For me, photography and video has to tell a story comprehensively and in a logical linear order. It is to my own annoyance that I find modern video to often be very abrupt with no more than a passing nod at the finer details of the wedding day. 

Being perhaps something of an anorak, I like to open a video with a minute or two introducing the venue and offering a view of the smaller details which could easily be missed on the day or forgotten afterwards.  A piece of music and titles complete this sequence.
